Life Aligned Counseling and Consulting (LAC) is a thriving therapy practice in Chicago, Illinois.  We offer therapy services to individuals, couples, and families.  Our practice is committed to providing holistic, affirming, and inclusive care that creates a safe space for healing and transformation. 

We are looking for part-time and full-time therapists to join our amazing team.  This is an excellent opportunity for those who value independence and work-life balance while continuing to grow as a clinician.  We strive to create a relaxed, supportive, and professional work environment.  The clinician must be a self-starter, dependable, flexible, and committed to meeting clients’ needs with effective therapy and solid clinical judgement.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Licensed in the State of Illinois (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC) or master’s degree or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or social work

  • Mental health experience with diverse client populations and clinical issues; culturally competent and trauma-informed

  • Ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients

  • Ability to work remotely and independently on tasks

  • Effective time management and organization skills  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills to operate health records system and other electronic programs

  • Passionate and committed to providing effective mental health care

  • Values integrity, respect, balance, and positivity
